In a recent video report, Deutsche Welle mentions that “Cuba is considered one of the countries with the least internet connection.”

After the opening of 35 precarious WiFi hotspots last year, Cubans can now get a limited, expensive and censored view of the web, but most Cubans, especially the youth, still rely on a more creative workaround to share content and information known as a mesh network or “streetnet.”
