The event – which is open to the public and will feature specialists as well as invited activists and journalists from Mexico and Cuba – will take place at the International University of Florida’s (FIU) Graham Center (Room 150). The event to be held at FIU on January 21 will be followed by a conversation on Democracy and Human Rights in Latin America that will take place on January 25 at the headquarters of the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba. Participation in the conversation will be by invitation only given the limited space.
