The Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) has issued the following press release:

The Patriotic Union of Cuba, UNPACU, has as a main objective to recruit, capacitate, train and lead in a nonviolent struggle the largest possible number of Cubans in order to achieve the democratization of our beloved and beautiful country, as well as the well being of all Cubans.
UNPACU has a youth front and another female one to which each day are added more brave and intelligent Cubans who love Cuba and are not intimidated by the thugs of the regime responsible for the oppression and misery of the nation.
To capture the greatest number of citizens we must clearly convey our good intentions and demonstrate an everyday example that we are good, honest and brave people concerned about the rights and welfare of all our community. Our comportment should always be the best. Members of UNPACU should be good patriots, good citizens, good neighbors, and we should prove it with our conduct every day, all the time.
In a nation so affected in all camps for over half a century by Castro-communist totalitarianism, we should put forth maximum effort and be the best example of civility.
