According to Diario de Cuba, “Dissidents Sonia Garro, Ramón Alejandro Muñoz and Eugenio Hernández were released Tuesday afternoon and are in their homes, where they will await trial.”
“It’s a change of injunction. We are waiting for the trial at home but do not know when it is,” said Sonia Garro to the daily.
Garro also mentioned that in no case did she “expect” to be released from prison and was not aware that “a change of injunction was coming.” The opposition member said she was freed “without notice”, lamenting that during her detention of nearly three years she was never informed of his situation. However, her situation now corresponds with that of “house arrest” she added.
