In a recent interview with Miami Actualidad Cuban born Osmany Corteguerra, known as the “genius of Hialeah,” we learned “just created his first Twitter account @Osmanycor.”

This talented young technology enthusiast talked about the “extreme differences between the disconnection he experienced living on the island of Cuba compared with the open, uncensored access he has in the United States filled with endless possibilities for learning.”

In this sense, Osmany now aims to “help the Cuban people to connect to the free internet.”

To that end, before Corteguerra begins his freshman year at M.I.T., he will dedicate this summer to helping the Connect Cuba campaign whose mission is to “empower Cuban civil society with open, uncensored access to the Internet and the ability to communicate freely with each other and the world.”

If you are interested in helping Connect Cuba like Osmany, you don’t have to be a genius, just click here to donate and sign the petition, or send us an email: info@fhrcuba.org.
