On Saturday, May 3rd, at the headquarters of the Ladies in White in central Havana, 22 children and 2 infants along with some of their mothers, gathered to take part in the latest “Extending our Hands” community event. The afternoon included a few hours of entertainment, fun, and a peaceful community exchange. The Ladies in White, including Laura Maria Labrada, Maria Cristina Varona, and Berta Soler entertained the children with arts & crafts, stories, singing and other activities.
Every month, the Ladies in White of Bayamo, Holguin, Matanzas and Havana host the “Extending our Hands” project with the idea to continue growing the community program in other provinces.
