Dagoberto Valdés Hernández is, according to his spanish language Wikipedia page an “agricultural engineer by profession, an educator by vocation, and a Catholic leader at heart.” From the Pinar del Río province of Cuba, he is a leader of Cuban civil society and directs the magazine “Convivencia” or “Coexistence.” This video shares Dagoberto’s thoughts on bringing the free, open internet to Cuba and its potential impact on the future of Cuban civil society.
