After Sunday mass and the long walk through Fifth Avenue, the Ladies in White, with more than 40 activists, arrived three blocks away from the Holy See in Old Havana. State security had to move aside and let them pass until they arrived at the house of Laura Pollan, former president of Ladies in White.
There were more than 80 people inside the Holy See and because not everyone fit inside, a line of people formed outside, waiting for the chance to go in. As the Ladies walked toward the Holy See, the people of the town shouted to them: “continue, we support you, blessing you, brave people!”
