On March 19th, 2015 the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba (FHRC), along with Florida International University’s Latin American and Caribbean Center (FIU-LACC) came together to bring to South Florida the inaugural conference on women and human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean: Our Voices Resonate.
The event was a tremendous success and became a platform for women’s voices to be heard on many important issues facing the region today, from “gender violence” to “education and grassroots activities.”
