“Cuba is on the list of the countries who most heavily censor Internet access, along with a very low rate of connection. The Cuban people are full of desire for access to an open and free Internet. However, the high prices set by the state in [the few] public locations meant to give the community more access has resulted in a mission impossible for the people.”

Discrimination against the Cuban people by its government increases each day. Foreign residents can sign up for Internet service in their homes while the Cubans are not allowed. This sad situation is no longer tolerated and Cubans both inside and outside the island have begun to demand that the Cuban government open up the free Internet; an Internet without restrictions, uncensored, and in the hands of the people who earn less than $20 per month.”
